MESTO LIPANY

The town Lipany is located between mountains of the Spish and Sharish regions, in the valley of Torysa River, district Sabinov and it is a tributary area for 25,000 people of Upper-Torysa region. The town offers for its inhabitants and visitors the summer musical concerts, the summer swimming pool, skate-park, the sport and holiday resort Špárová, fi shing on the grave lakes, in summer season the skiing in the ski resort Dubovica – Žliabky. The building-up of geothermal park is being in preparation. The most precious monuments are the Roman-Catholic Gothic St. Martin Church, altar from the masterwork of Master Paul from Levoča and the ancient lime-tree protected as a monument.
