MESTO HURBANOVO

The town Hurbanovo is located in the south of the West Slovakia
on the hottest place of the Danube Lowlands, at the junction of Zitava and Nitra rivers. The oldest record named possesio “Gyalla” comes already from 1357. The town consists of sever parts with 8,058 inhabitants. Historical monuments located here: the St. Ladislav Roman-Catholic Church, the Church of Calvinist Church, a classicistic manorhouse, a hunting-type chateau, the St. Anna Church, etc. The famous names of Dr. Mikuláš Thege-Konkoly and Arpád Feszty are connected with the town. Nowadays, the town is being successfully represented by the Slovak Central Observatory, Heineken Slovensko a.s. with world wide known beer of brand Zlatý Bažant (Golden Pheasant), as well as by other companies performing their business within the town industrial park.
