Slovinky – a former mining village, known by mining of copper, silver and iron, writes its history since 1368 under name VILLA ABAKUK. With its location in the middle of forest with plenty marked tourist tracks it is a place both for resting and active stay of tourists. Ski resorts Plejsy and Poráčske Mlynky are located in the vicinity. Breeding fishponds serving the culinary specialities are also available. The folklore group and the mining guild care for maintaining the folk traditions.
