SLOVENSKÉ POĽNOHOSPODÁRSKE MÚZEUM V NITRE

More than 20-thousand exhibits document development of agriculture in Slovakia. Expositions: Archeology, Traditional crafts and Development of food industry, Agricultural machines and Aviation, Fireman cars and equipment. Part of museum is open-air museum of folk architecture – 33 objects (school, co-operative shop, mills, etc.). There is great atraction narrow-gauge Nitra´s fi eld railway. It drives during forthcoming under- takings or to order. (min. 2 days before). In service are 3 steam and 2 diesel-electric engines, 4 sightseeing wagons. Museum is opened Tuesday-Saturday 9.00-17.00 h, entrance at 9.00, 11.00, 13.00, 15.00 h. Sunday 13.00-17.00 h, entrance at 13.00, 15.00 h. Last entrance is at 15.00 h. Monday is closed.
