







Bojná is a developed, modern and cultural municipality with a rich history and the oldest Christian bell in Slovakia.
The most essential fi nds of the village are the cast bells, golden relief plaques from portable altar with the fi rst handwriting documents at the Central Europe Slavonians, the discovery of Slavic barrows with a skeleton grave from the end of the 8th century and thousands of iron fi nds. These are located in the museum of archaeological artefacts in the House of Culture. The surrounding countryside attracts for biking tours and tourism to the archaeological locality Valy. The Nature Trail Považský Inovec passes through the village. Various sport facilities, the multipurpose playground, an area in the village centre serving as an ice rink in winter are here for sport purposes. The cultural events organized in the village: Exhibitions and tasting of wine, fruit, vegetable and fl owers, art exhibitions, The Bojná Carnival, Festivals of Church Choirs. The Guest- House Ranc pod Babicou provides the full board and the accommodation.
