The Village Čamovce is one of the oldest ones of the Novohrad Region – 1240.
It lies in the east part of Cerová Highlands, in the vallez of Cámovský Creek. The classicistic Roman-Catholic church of St. Guardian Angels from 1846 is an attraction here. The village includes 565 inhabitants at present.
