The St. George Martyr Roman-Catholic church from the 18th century and the St. Anna and St. Joachim church from the 17th century, an ancient pilgrim place, 3 km above Rudník. Double Cross. The Roman-Catholic parish, Elementary school with Kindergarten, Sport Club, Folklore Group Makalky, St. George Singer Choir of Youth. Traditional events: Football 76 years, The May Running 36 years, The Tourist march 30 years, Vatra SNP (Bonfi re devoted to the Slovak National Uprising), Putting up of the Maypoles, The Mothers’ Day, The Children’s Day, Meetings of pensioners.
