OBEC VIDINÁ

The first written record about the municipality comes from 1335.
The municipality Vidina lies in the Novohradska Hollow in the part of Novohradske Terraces. The most important dominant is the baroque manor house from 1706 built on basements of fortress probably from the Hussites’ period. Park forms an integral part of this cultural monument. An important cultural landmark is the new-baroque R.C. church of Divine Heart. Visitors of our village have the opportunity, besides these cultural landmarks, to visit the exhibitions of Novohradska Gallery and Novohradske Museum in the near town Lucenec.
