MESTO LUČENEC

Lučenec lies in the central part of the Lučenec Basin.
The town history can be seen through several monumental objects, the sacral and secular buildings.  The centre is createdby attractively designed rectangular historical square being declared as  the listed zone. The townLučenec has won the prestigious prize in 1996 as the first town in the  Slovakia, the "Gold Business Biatec" for its creative activities, the cultural and business-friendly environment. In 2000, the highest building in Lučenec and in the Slovakia - I. ESO was put in operation. The congress centre yard is located in  the neighbourhood. The Lučenec Park providesthe snug spaces for sitting and relax. The town Lučenec has opened a new municipal open-air pool in the recreational and resting zone.
