The village was established in the year 1960 through association of villages Dedinka pri Dunaji (the first record from 1252) and Nová Ves pri Dunaji (the first record in 1326). It is located in the southwest part of Podunajská Lowland in the Senec region and the river Čierna Voda flows through it. The barrowsfrom the 6th century B.C. have been uncovered in the village territory at the Danube. The Roman church of St. Philip and James is a precious historical landmark. The village modernizes its visage also thanks to individual residential construction.
