The village in a quiet locality, 3 km distant from Slnečné jazerá (The Sun Lakes).
The village lying 25 km northeast from Bratislava is mentioned for the first time in 1252. Its inhabitants dealt with agriculture. The village possesses no historical monument, only buildings of local importance (church, bell-house, memorial cross). The location apart from main roads is its advantage. The kindergarten, few-class elementary school are in the village. Services for inhabitants are provided by two groceries, a pub, small and middle businessmen.
