The first written mention of the village comes from 1312. According to it, the penman Kolín from Gelnica founded the Villa Colinii. In 1409 the king Sigmund devised the village to the rectory of Spišské Vlachy. The village belonged to the Association of Saxons from Spish region. The oldest building is the church of St. Francis of Assisi from 1830. The village is located 2 km northwest from Krompachy. It is a village being under modernization, where 590 inhabitants live,the mean age of whose is 35 years. The harmony of mountains, the Hornád River and a human. The folklore group Kalina works in the village more than 40 years. 3 generations encounter at singing and dancing (members from 6 – 75 years of age), who care to maintain the folk traditions of our ancestors.
