







Though Zálesie is a young village, but it passed through complicated and dramatic development.
In 1923 came here the first Slovaks from the north Slovakia. The village dominate the Roman-Catholic Chapel of Hl. Trinity (1932), the Wayside Cross. The village Zálesie lies in the flat opened country. Small Danube (Malý Dunaj) creates one big meander. In the west part the artificial lakes „Green Waters” (Zelené vody) were built up. The village has built the infant school and the elementary school. Cultural events and the Riding-School Zálesie take place here.
