OBEC IŽA

The community Iza situated on the Danube area,
in the south part of the Slovakia, 7 km eastwards from Komarno. The community has 1650 inhabitants. The area is an important archaeological  habitat. The village landmarks: theRoman military camp – Leányvár, crosses alongside the roads, fl ood  memorial, memorial of killed in the I.World War, memorial of killed in the II.World War, the R.C. rectory, the R.C. church, The Calvinist church, the stature of The Virgin  Mary, the St. John Nepomucky, remarkablecrosses on the Iza’s Cemetery.
