







Originally it consists of two villages: Belá and Dulice.
The oldest written record of the village Belá comes from 1282. In the 13th and the 14th centuries it was a royal village belonging to the castle Blatnica. Typical feature of the village is the stream in-line building of the granary. The early-gothic church from the 13th century locates in the village. The village Dulice has developed in the same way as Belá has. It is recorded in writing from 1357, when mainly the yeomen from Dulice were mentioned. More significant yeoman families lived in this village, the most significant of which was the family Bužovský. In 1971 the villages were joined and at present the common title Belá – Dulice is being used, where 1,252 inhabitants live today. The history of this village is documented also in the surrounding peaks and valleys of the Veľká Fatra Mountains, which belong into its territory and which open their arms to you and offer the beauty of its landscape with wide possibilities for sport and recreation. Our village is well proud to its history, splendid scenery and it enjoys an interest of both the domestic and foreign tourists. It is living with its daily life consisting also from sphere of culture and sport.
