A world-wide unique – Herlany Cold-Water Geyser
The village Herlany is located at the foothill of Slanske Mountains. It consists of two parts: Herlany and Zirovce. The village has already been known in the 17th century thanks to the mineral springs. The Herlany geyser has been noticed as the National Natural Monument. There are opportunities for tourism  in the village vicinity. The National Nature Preserve Male Brdo is located here; 2 km eastwards from village there are the ruins of medieval castle on the Hill Hradisko. The village provides the possibility for accommodation and catering in the facility of the Technical University. The opportunity for volleyball and foot-tennis is also in the village.
