OBEC STREDA NAD BODROGOM

The biggest village of the Region Medzibodrožie with protected natural territories.
The village with 2,420 inhabitants is located on the south-east of Slovakia. The first written record comes from 1273. Advantageous location (close to the thermal swimming pools in Hungary), the trip cruises to Hungary, the Tokaj region, the wine-cellars in the Tuff quarry, cycling tours over the Medzibodrožie Region, the Nature Preserve Tajba with occurrence of the pond terrapin, possibility for fi shing, the sightseeing to the manor-house, the church from the 13th century. The village includes the Health Centre, the Chemist’s shop, the Post Office, the Bank affiliate, 22 shops, the pension and the sport airport.
