







The village Bobrov is one of the connections between the Slovak and Polish Orava Regions.
The fi rst record of the village comes from 1550. In 1818 the Emperor Francis I. declared Bobrov to be a royal town. The National Cultural Monuments are represented by the St. Jacob Church from the 18th century and two houses of Linen Producers from the 19th century. A meaningful monument is the Calvary with a chapel and 14 small chapels from 1894, which is a place of church pilgrims. The border crossing to the Poland in direction to Krakow, Nowy Targ and Zakopané is located within a village.
