







AVERSE AND REVERSE OF MONEY – The sole exposition of its kind in the Slovakia presents completely the history of money and medal-making on the territory of Slovakia, the history of Kremnica, its mining and acunation. The chamber occasional exhibitions of creative art take place in The Exhibition cabinet. An attraction for visitors is to stamp their own coin manually with Kremnica’s motives. The exposition has acquired the prize The Museum of the Year 2003.
THE TOWN CASTLE – The castle premises dominates The St. Katherine Church known also thanks to unique organ concerts. The Renaissance church tower provides a view on sky-line of antique town and its surrounding. The permanent expositions: Baroque Plastic Arts, The Archaeological Research of Castle and The Town Defence, The Kremnica’s Bells and Founders of Bells, Karner. The museum was awarded with
the prize The Annual Prize of the Magazine “Pamiatky a muzea” in 1996 for the renovation of the monument.
THE ANTIQUARIAN ROADS – the long-term art and historical exhibition representing the art jewels of paint and sculpture creation of the 15th - 18th century from the museum collections originated from Kremnica and close vicinity. The art works are presented within attractive milieu of medieval house as a part of burgher’s interior. The museum was awarded with the prize The Museum of the Year in 2007 and the Annual Prize of the Magazine “Pamiatky a muzea” for the exhibition. The year 2012 will be the last year of existence of this awarded exhibition, which is to be replaced by a new long-term exhibition presenting the collection of Kremnica‘s stoneware.
THE MUSEUM GALLERY, located in the rennaissance burgher‘s house, represents the occasional exhibitions of creative art.
