The village Háj is located in the southern part of the Turiec Basin, near the spa town Turčianske Teplice, at the foot of the western slopes of the Veľká Fatra Mountains in 508 m above the sea level. The fi rst written mention dates back to 1264. Currently, the village has 444 inhabitants. The cultural monuments include the Cosmas and Damian Roman-Catholic church built around 1454 and the Lutheran church from 1819. Our village has a rich cultural and social life.
