AVERSE AND REVERSE OF MONEY – The sole exposition of its kind in the Slovakia presents completely the history of money and medal-making on the territory of Slovakia, the history of the golden town Kremnica and its famous mining and acunation. The presentation of technical equipment for the processing of the Slovak banknotes and coins used in the National Bank  ofSlovakia from 1993 to 2008 (the Slovak crown currency) creates a part of exhibition. The exposition has acquired the prize The Museum of the Year 2003. THE TOWN CASTLE – The castle premises dominates The St. Katherine Church known also thanks to unique organ concerts. The Renaissance church tower provides a view on sky-line of antique town and its surrounding. The permanent expositions: Baroque Plastic Arts, The Archaeological Research of Castle and The Town Defence,  The Kremnica’s Bells and Founders of Bells, Karner. The museum was awarded with the prize The Annual Prize of the Magazine “Pamiatky a múzeá” in 1996 for the renovation of the monument. THE BURGHERS HOUSE NO. 32/38 – a place of presentation of a diverse collection of the museum through long-term exhibitions of different focus. The architecturally interesting house is built on a narrow medieval plot between two larger Gothic buildings and its interior represents late-Renaissance burgher architecture. THE MUSEUM GALLERY is situated in the renaissance burgher‘s house. It presents the occasional exhibitions of creative art. So called green room with preserved Renaissance decorations is also interesting – the wall paintings come from the first half of the 16th century.
